Facett - a modified Saab Sonett I

Another designer was Sigvard Sörenssen who would like to have a covered sports car from Saab. He removed the original fiberglass body from ch.nr. 4 (out of 6 produced Sonett I from 1956) and in the early 1960s built a sheet metal body that was attached to the original chassis.

The rear is a very early variant of the "coupe coupe" and this was long before the Saab 99 as a "coupe coupe". This may have been practical, which did not apply to the headlights, whose up and down had to be done manually when they were hidden under the bonnet.
