The solution was an easy but very well functioning, a tube with 90 degrees and the same diameter as the water pump. No kinks in the hose, and a good flow; disadvantage an extra piece of hose and two extra hose clamps.

The Hose that sat in the place was a so called multihose with a really ugly fold which might explain some overheating.

The flow had not been good and the worn radiator was not a good combination.

The day came when the engine and gearbox would be paired together but we had to hold up and looking for missing parts. It was missing a pair the guide sleeves between engine and gearbox, someone had forgotten these at one time, and we were looking long time and we did not find them.

There're usually a sizable pile of nuts and bolts on the side, and the risk that something disappear is high, even if you mark up and trying to keep order.

A call to Hasse Eklund CSS did solve the problem. The day when the whole package would come back and the only hassle was enough to find the hole for the rear bolt for the gearbox. Hours went by, and finally everything was in place. Meanwhile, the little things that flapping throttle and poorly lubricated windows were fixed.

Starting the engine is really ridiculous how many times have you started a car?

Right many times, but some are special and this was such a time.

Charged battery and Anders hanging over the engine compartment. Clicking from the relays and other signs of life. Start position with the key and crank the starter, not a life. What had we forgotten?

It is the first question you ask. We had not forgotten anything, but it turned out that the distributor had turned so much that everything was wrong.

New attempts with a spinning starter and Anders turning the distributor.

After approximately 10 seconds, coughed V4-ball running, with non-existent idle and various stalling.

The patient was breathing almost goes after any interventions. Some small adjustments so that the engine was able run by itself and we could conclude that no leaks were either water or oil. Warm-up control of the coolant replaced the evening after the procedure to tighten the top bolts and adjust the valves. Everything flowed and the evening it was time for the position "front on". Before we went to work, many visual controls on the things that is difficult to access afterwards. Before the front was there, it was time to test everything under its own power.

Sonett was running a few meters back and a few meters back under their own steam. The happiness was complete when I found that the clutch was now just as it could be, I could release the clutch at idling and the car slid off without its own quirks
